Silver hairvine with platinum eucalyptus leaves and white pearls. The small eucalyptus leaves are crafted from platinum-colored metallic leather using millinery techniques and measure approximately 2 x 2.5 cm. The white pearls are genuine Swarovski White pearls, 4 and 6 mm in size. The vine measures approximately 30 cm in length and is approximately 4.5 cm high (adjustable). It is easily attached with invisible hairpins (not included) and is made of soft metal wire, which can be shaped as desired. Entirely handmade in Italy.

This collection of bridal hair accessories from LA BOTTEGA LIVENTINA is called FEUILLAGE, which in French means “leaves, foliage.”
I wanted to shift my focus from the flower to the leaf, the quintessential symbol of nature, to remind ourselves every day to defend our Mother Earth, this Nature that, unfortunately, we too often forget to respect.
Since ancient times, the leaves of certain plants have held powerful symbolism: the FERN adorns every image of the god Pan, deity of the mountains and rural life; the LAUREL was the sacred tree of Apollo, a symbol of wisdom and glory; the VINE leaves encircle the head of Dionysus, god of wine and sensual pleasure; the OLIVE TREE, which has become a universal symbol of peace, originally adorned the head of the goddess Minerva, protector of the arts and crafts.

Every creation by LA BOTTEGA LIVENTINA is rigorously handmade in my studio/workshop in Motta di Livenza (between the provinces of Treviso, Pordenone, and Venice) in a clean, smoke-free environment.
